Architectural salvage, bargains, treasures, antiques, bric-a-brac, vintage, kitsch, outdoor/garden items, and DIY projects – The Pear & Salvage Home’s outdoor facility, The Salvage Locker (aka The Pear’s kid brother) will be open for a flash sale this weekend.
This is an outdoor sale only. Weather permitting, it’s being held from 10am to 4pm on Friday, April 7th, Saturday April 8th, and by chance on Sunday, April 9th.
The Salvage Locker is located at 724 Ridge Road, Mineral Point (across the street from Farmers Implement Store).
The Pear & Salvage Home is delighted to present the beautifully crafted work of fibre artist and teacher, Harriet Ridnour for our first Gallery Night of the year. Harriet will demonstrate her craft as well as showcase her meticulously crafted rugs, scarves, shawls, mittens and hats, which will also be available to purchase. Vintage textiles have been a passion for Harriet for many years. She has been involved in fibre art all her life, sewing and knitting when she was younger, and selling antique textiles and sewing tools later. Harriet finds knitting both relaxing and meditative. She also loves to teach. Fifteen years ago she began rug hooking and now helps beginners, sells supplies, organizes annual classes, as well as work on her own projects.
During winter The Pear has undergone somewhat of a transformation. To celebrate spring and beyond we have a vast array of fabulous new products, vintage wares and household goods to help brighten your home. Come and see for yourself.
